Welcome to the website of Solid Rock Baptist Church in Rusk, Texas, a mission work of the First Baptist Meadowview, Mesquite, Texas. We are excited that the Lord brought us to Rusk to start a new church. It is our desire to minister to families in this community.

Home and family. No matter what how you feel about those two words, let us introduce you to another kind of family, another idea of home.
Here at Solid Rock, we all wear different clothes, work different jobs, reside in different houses, drive different cars, but we live the same faith. Solid Rock is a place where we plant seeds of faith through our children’s ministry and youth ministry, we encourage each other as our faith grows, and we reach out to the community, sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our family celebrates together, comforts each other, and provides for one another.

In a world that changes and shifts, we provide a constant in God’s love for the residents and wayfarers of Rusk Texas. Whether you have lived in Rusk your whole life, you moved for school, or your job transferred you to the area, we have a place for you.
